Services on the River: A Modern High Holy Days

Join us for a High Holy Day experience that will feel both familiar and modern, led by Rabbi Matthew Leibl at the Gates on Roblin. 

Rosh Hashanah Service: Sunday, September 13th – 10:00 AM
Kol Nidre Service: Sunday September 20th – 6:00 PM
Yom Kippur Service: Monday September 21st – 10:00 AM

Sarah Sommer and Justin Odwak return as Cantors and leaders of the SOTR Quartet, breathing life into a mix of traditional and contemporary liturgy.  Services will be held indoors and will be two hours. 

New This Year:  We are excited to launch the Shofar Club Kids Program for kids aged 4-12, led by Halley Ritter. The Shofar Club will run at the same time as Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services, but in a different part of the Gates.

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased as a package to all three services or to individual services. Tickets will be offered as electronic tickets that can be printed at home or scanned from a mobile device. If you need to purchase an extra ticket at the event entrance you can do so.

SHOFAR CLUB KIDS PROGRAM

The Shofar Club runs on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, from 10:00-12:00, for kids aged 4-12. Kids may be dropped off as early as 9:30. Weather permitting, most activities will take place outdoors at The Gates. 

There is no Shofar Club on Kol Nidre, but kids under 13 may buy a Kids Ticket to the service and sit with their families. 
Kids aged 3 and under may sit with their families in the main service. 

PARKING

There is plenty of complimentary parking on site at The Gates.

ASSIGNED OR RUSH SEATING?

All services will be rush seating.

ACCESSIBILITY

The Gates on Roblin is fully accessible. 

DRESS CODE

The dress code is business casual. 

KIPPOT, TALLIT, MACHZOR

These services are BYOT and BYOK – Bring Your Own Tallit and Bring Your Own Kippah. But Machzorim will be provided.
